The rink is open year-round and offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the zoo’s resident animals.įor the past four years, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has been unable to provide ice skating. One of the most popular attractions at the Columbus Zoo is the ice skating rink. The zoo also offers a variety of other attractions, including a water park, a safari park, and a museum. Turtle’s Trick or Treat Trail at Boo at the Zoo will have plenty of treats for the little ones, and we’re making sure it’s safe for the entire family! Make a stop at one of our 13 treat stations located in Adventure Cove, around Conservation Lake, and throughout Asia Quest. They are all so incredible-–it will be hard to choose your favorite! Jessie’s Jack-O-Lantern Journey: Guests are welcome to take a self-guided tour of this enchanted path that includes hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins big and small with magical pumpkins round and tall. The cheetahs will chase a lure, demonstrating their speed and agility. Cheetah Run: Watch the fastest land mammal reach top speeds in Heart of Africa at the Cheetah Run (Fridays-Sundays at 11 a.m. On Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 a.m., experience the wonder of the California sea lions swimming and jumping through the water while learning how our Animal Care team trains these aquatic ambassador animals. Sea Lion Training Tales: Join us at the Lighthouse Theater in Adventure Cove for Sea Lion Training Tales presentations. and 4 p.m., join us at the Lighthouse Theater and discover your connection to the feathered, flippered, and furry creatures who call Adventure Cove home. Dive Into Adventure Presentations: On Saturdays and Sundays at 12 p.m. The route for these celebrations will include the main path in Adventure Cove, around Conservation Lake, and the west side of the Zoo. Rolling Musical Celebrations: During this year’s Boo at the Zoo, look out for the Character Express as it will bring four themed rolling musical celebrations: Halloween Hullabaloo, Cali’s Pirate Palooza, Roll Back the Rock, and So Long, Farewell. Activities: Character Craze Hay Maze: The Character Craze Hay Maze is back at Boo at the Zoo, presented by Wendy’s! You will be a-mazed at your ability to navigate through this festive fall experience made of over 40 bales of straw. and is included with Zoo admission or a Columbus Zoo membership.
